As hard as a traumatic event may be, avoiding it can be even harder.
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CRM (Comprehensive Resource Model) to treat trauma.
EMDR is a research-backed method for helping people process distressing memories and reduce their emotional charge. By using guided eye movements or bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain reprocess traumatic events and restore emotional balance. It’s effective for PTSD, phobias, anxiety, depression, and more.
CRM is a cutting-edge approach that helps people safely work through deep-rooted trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and emotional blocks. It uses internal “resources” — feelings of safety, bodily awareness, and connection — to guide healing without overwhelm. Through breathwork, imagery, body-based awareness, and targeted brain activation, clients can “rewrite” traumatic experiences and regain control.
CRM is especially helpful for those who haven’t found relief through other types of therapy.
